Shoshanna Kahne
Postdoc
After becoming interested in research as a Biology major at Tufts University, my work as a technician in Andrew Camilli’s lab inspired me to pursue a PhD in molecular microbiology. In 2017 I joined Heran Darwin’s lab at New York University where I studied regulation of proteolysis by the bacterial proteasome in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. As a postdoc, I’m excited to learn more about bacteriophages, bacterial defense systems, the Seattle ceramics scene, and hiking in the Pacific Northwest.
