Erik Choi

Erik is a senior at the University of Washington anticipated to graduate in December of 2023. Initially drawn to microbiology due to his interest in viruses, he is interested in exploring the mechanisms of unknown bacterial defense systems against phage infection. He joined the Meeske lab during March of 2023 and in his free time, he enjoys being bad at chess and discovering new places to eat.
