Amanda graduated from WSU in 2020 but keeps the Pullman (& Seattle) spirit alive through her Subaru and coffee addiction. Initially drawn to microbiology by learning about the Bubonic Plague in middle school, she is interested in host-microbe interactions and joined the Meeske Lab in the summer of 2023. In her spare time Amanda enjoys climbing, being front row at Taylor Swift concerts and occasionally visiting London (to visit graves from the Bubonic Plague).
